Our Story

Sign Craft is P.E.I.’s longest established sign company. Sign Craft was originally established in 1980 by 3 partners. Brothers George & Roy Scantlebury, and Gherig Roach. While being in business for 40 years, and still being successful is impressive in itself, the history of Sign Craft extends far beyond that. George and Roy are the sons of Wallace Scantlebury, who established Scantlebury signs in 1912, thereby meaning Sign Craft’s roots actually go back over 100 years.

We perform installations and service for some of Canada’s largest sign manufacturers, for retailers and business’ such as Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, Winners, Home Sense, Loblaws, and Tim Horton’s to name a few.
In addition to our national clients, we also do manufacturing, installation, and service for a great number of P.E.I. companies including The Murphy Hospitality Group, Bulk Carriers, Island Petroleum, Murphy’s Pharmacies, and PEI Liquor.

We offer complete sign service in P.E.I. For everything from graphics on your vehicle, to full size illuminated signs, awnings, and everything in between. We will design your signs and/or graphics, We will manufacture or produce them, we will install them for you, and we will perform maintenance and service on them after installation including converting your fluorescent signs to LED.

Sign Craft continues to evolve with the times, and utilize today’s current technologies, to maintain our reputation as P.E.I.’s leading sign company. We have a CNC router which we use for manufacturing everything from LED Channel letters, to prismatic foam letters, to carved gold leaf signs.

We have the largest fleet of service and installation vehicles in P.E.I., including two crane trucks, and three bucket trucks.
